$115 million funding for Christian chaplains in Australian schools.

So essentially thats a giant 'fuck you' to students of other religions and $115 mil that could have been used to buy resources for proper educations.

I have no problem with churches, mosques, temples whatever, in fact I think many are very pretty and most of the people are nice. I just think it's better to keep the brainwashing of our youngsters in the home and not in PUBLIC government run schools.

Hopefully the kiddies get a better Chaplain than mine. I lost count of how many times I got kicked out of scripture class in primary school for "disrupting the class with too many questions". :P

Hell... $115 mil for Buddhist monks would have been better. Less chance of crankiness plus the martial arts would keep the little tackers fit!

Or hey, how about multifaith chaplains or hell, lets go crazy and just have a councellor who can offer helpful advice for troubled kids other than "Well god says this..."

People make me cranky sometimes.

Just got my acceptance for Murdoch Uni in the post. Yay for being a student bum again :D

Starting Multimedia this semester and then next year it will be a double degree with Game design/production.

Also, i've started downloading/watching Enterprise. It really is no way near as bad as everyone seems to think it is. I actually quite like it. So yeah, fuck you hippies :P

If you have any interest in history I recommend watching the new series 'The Tudors'. It rules.

Have been watching WAY too much Time Team recently. Of course by way too much I mean "Not enough dear god give me more!". I must say my favourite person in the whole show has to be Phil. With his west country accent and awesomely shabby hat he looks like he should be driving a tractor and drinking cider. The accent is especially awesome when he gets excited and starts rambling. Vundebar!

I declare that there should be more west country accents in the world of entertainment. More I say!!!!!!

(btw if you have no idea what I mean by 'west country' accent just pop a lord of the rings dvd on and listen to the hobbits) ;)

Hot damn i'm loving this weather. Raaaaaiiiiiinnnnnnnn. Soggy good :D

Just saw the Bloodrayne movie. It was honestly like dental torture. Breasts yay, but nonetheless. It was obvious they had spent a bit of money on the sets/film/cgi but the acting was dreadful, worse than small children bad. Not to mention the fact that all the swords were made of ugly rebated (blunt) aluminium. Remember kids, you use the sharp steel ones for close ups and the ugly matt aluminium for the fighting.. *facapalms*

Also, as the internet is a REALLY bad place to look for this, I was wondering if any of my history geek friends had any good academic links or book recommendations for archaeological finds related to leather belts, pouches, bags and more importantly shoes/boots in pre-roman Britain. Sort of 300 BCE - 30 CE. Let me know :D

As a side note I have sown a small patch of barley in my veggie patch as the pumpkins have basically finished what they are doing. If it turns out well I might try some wheat or something next. Yay geek stuff :P

Went to the Physio today. Guy was very cool, told me in great detail the reason why things are sore and things like that. Remarked that my shoulder had caused several problems to my body, mainly things like pulling several ribs into odd positions and straining the shit out of my neck, not to mention said misplaced ribs pinching nerves which is why certain parts of my shoulder are so tender and why my right hand is constantly numb/has pins and needles.

Did some manipulation and other physio related stuff. One particular part resulted in me passing out from the pain :P I rember him doing stuff to my upper back muscles, it really hurt and then I recall the carpet looking a bit weird and then being woken up.

So yeah, i'm hopeful this guy might be able to do some good.

Have had a few beers which is usually good for the ouchiness but atm I can still feel everything in all it's paintastic glory.

Time to try and sleep, or rather lay down and hope to fuck I can withstand the urge to move at all.

On a less painful note, my aircon is working again and i'm getting a pool table in the spare room in the next day or two. *wiggles happily*
